The honoured visit of the Awka Paul University Theological Faculty, graced the premises of our Lady Lynn Chancel & Towers Mission on the 7th day of February, 2021.
The President welcomed all who were both physically present and online in the Evening Service.
In his sermon he shared that one of the greatest experience he has had in life is been a beneficiary of hospitality and it is of a great significance for the church to adopt such ideology.
According to him, the level of hospitality of churches in Europe is highly commendable compared to the churches here in Nigeria. It has been observed in recent times that many churches in Nigeria practice receiving from her members rather than giving to them.
Emphasis was drawn from the book of 1998 tilted ”Anglican Spirituality” by the author “Philippe Patek” which describes the hospitable nature a Christian must adopt to make the church recover her true hospitable nature.
Interviews were conducted by the staff of the Rivers State Television Authority at the end of the service.
